Create a blog

I mentioned in my twitter that the first step to earn extra income online is to have a blog of your own.  Blogs was originally started as online diaries but they quickly develop into so much more.

Blogging become more attractive because you can be up and running in minutes. You don’t have to worry about layout or which pages you need to build.

For those who are starting, my advice  is to test the water first. Built your blog first by using the free services of Blogger.com and Wordpress.com. With these two blogging platform, you don’t need to spend a cent.  All you have to do is select the blogging service you want to use, pick up the the templates that best suit your mode or style or target niche. And write the topic of your interest.

In this post, I will introduce first how to sig-up in Blogger.com  and then latter at  Wordpress.com.

Step 1 : Sign-up and create your account by choosing a Username, a Password and a Display name.

Step 2: Name you blog. Once you name your blog, you’ll create your own URL. The format will be  http://the-name-of-your-blog.blogspot.com

Step 3: Choose your Template. Bloggers offers professional templates to start with, Choose the one that suit your taste. If you’re not satisfy, there’s more at http://blogger-templates.blogspot.com

We’re Finish. You’ve got a blog.  Your blog is manage from “dashboard”, which lets you add new posts and change your blogs settings. For now, I’ll let you explore your dashboard.
